Vaccine Hoops
So, you "found" the state COVID Phase Finder page and filled out the 15 or so screens of information, and you're approved to receive your COVID-19 vaccine, now what?
  • After you enter your email address or phone number on the final screen, you'll receive confirmation information of what to bring for proof of confirmation to your vaccine appointment.
  • DO NOT head to a pharmacy or other vaccine location without an appointment, as each location is only giving vaccines with appointments at this time.
  • Where to find vaccine info? Head to the Department of Health site: Vaccine Link
  • Pack your patience! As of today, most sites don't have appointments until March or later. When any location gets new supplies, they will update their information.
Great news - if you have a vaccine appointment, and need a ride, contact us!

What Is and What Isn't Open During Phase 1?
The Washington State COVID-19 Safe Start phases went away in 2020, and we're now in Phase 1 of Healthy Washington.
  • If you want a quick link to where to find what phase your county is in (or maybe you are taking a quick road trip), here's that site:
    What Phase?

  • So, what exactly is open in each phase? Can you meet a friend for lunch yet?

Sharing
Members Share - Hate Squeezing Those Tiny Bottles When You're Combating Dry Eyes?
Have you ever found just the perfect product or tip that you'd love to share with all other members and volunteers? We love sharing ideas from each other.

One of the latest finds:
Owen Mumford Autosqueeze

This device, available via Amazon, Walgreens, Walmart, and likely other places, allows you to easily squeeze small bottles like eye-drops without the struggle you may have due to arthritis.

Help Wanted! Mending/Sewing or Microsoft Word?
  • Do you like to sew?
Some of our members need someone who likes to sew to mend pants whose waistband elastic has become too stretchy, can you help?

  • Do you love using Microsoft Word?
AND, you know what  those little red dots under everything are, and how the heck to get rid of them???) This help can be done via phone/Zoom.

  • Contact services@northwestneighborsnetwork.org if you can help.
