About this event
Join NNN host darci B to wander this expanded and accessible park. Formerly known as Squire's Landing, ƛ̕ax̌ʷadis (Tl' awh-ah-dees) Park has easy to navigate pedestrian bridges and viewing decks, accessible pathways, elevated boardwalks, nature paths, a public restroom and easy parking.
From the website: "The park includes improvements that renovated riparian and salmon habitat along the Swamp Creek Shoreline, created new wetland, and increased native vegetation. Over four acres of invasive species were removed and over 15,000 new native plants and 5,000 new native trees were planted throughout the park project area."
Meet on the sidewalk adjacent to the parking lot. Feel free to wander with the group or on your own, but darci will begin walking at 10:30. This is a very gentle walk and a fairly small park designed to give you the opportunity to enjoy being outdoors in a serene and welcoming setting.
