Maybe you had time to prepare, or maybe it was sudden. Either way, the time has arrived: You have to settle an estate. Where do you start? In this virtual session, attorney Tiffany Gorton will provide information on the steps to take, who can help, and what to expect. She’ll also provide suggestions for your own estate planning, so you can make things as simple as possible for those who come after you. Attendance is free, but registration is required. Registered attendees will receive the Zoom link and meeting ID prior to the session. Tiffany Gorton is an attorney with a practice focusing primarily on trust and estate litigation, estate planning and taxation. She has worked as a part-time lecturer in the UW School of Law and serves as a volunteer attorney with the UW Federal Tax Clinic.
